On Dec 5 @clabesnard is coming to us to release a small, limited yet affordable collection of handcrafted jewelry. The pieces are made of discarded acetate frames originally created for Jacques Esterel in the 1970s and 1980s.
The original glasses had very improbable shapes and had stayed in our stock for a very long time as we couldn’t part with their stunning materials and colour-ways. Turns out they were simply waiting for Clara to breathe new life into them as new, metamorphosed and unique ornaments.
The snowy winter days have just arrived, festivities are fast approaching, tag along to celebrate with a bit of warmth, friends, drinks and music!

Le collier ceinture in collaboration with @hermes for Hyères 39th festival @villanoailles worn by my wonderful friends (and dad !!!) 🤍
thanks for all the love, so blessed i could share this with all of you
@clabesnard ‘s newest collection ‘Blooming of a face’ has been selected as a finalist for the Hyères International Festival of Fashion and it’s launching tomorrow!
The collection portrays the seven stages of a frame’s blossoming on a face. Through every chapter, the pair of glasses, whilst grafted onto the face, seizes our facial identity to take over and tell the story of who we are.
The mask-like compositions she’s designed and crafted are made of discarded frames and parts from us, remodelled and assembled in the manner of a volume collage. ‘The redesigned object, tinged with its past, tells a story that belongs to everyone: the story of our identity, of the way we choose to appear in the world, of the face that is ours, that evolves and doesn’t last.’
We are always so baffled and amazed by what Clara can do and we’re very proud to have been able to follow and be a part of her project.
The Festival will happen at the villa Noailles (Hyères, FR) from the 10th to the 13th of October 2024. Her and her fellow co-finalist’s work will be exhibited and open for us all to see until January 12th 2025. We can only encourage you to see more of what she’s done and will do in the future.
Congrats Clara! Onto Hyères.
