Queen and co-founder of @hoodraveintl (which holds down black femme nightlife in Cali). She’s a DJ, producer and scholar. BAE BAE original music and edits have been a must-have in y’all sets for yeaaars ! 𝗗𝗝 𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗞𝗜 (@dj_diaki) hailing from Mali to bless us with his crazy balani sound. Shifting the optics of what a club night should or would sound like and pushing sonic boundaries. Often rolling with the @nyegenyegefest crew. We are glad to have him with us Saturday. 𝗟𝗬𝗘𝗟𝗘 (@lyele9) the Marseille-born producer has landed his own signature sound with productions for some of the french rap heavyweights from Tiakola to La Fève or Stéban. Spending his formative years in Detroit has allowed him to aquire a taste of electronic music and futuristic sounds overall. He currently has a sound installation at Palais de Tokyo and will deliver a free-form dj set 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗬 𝗗𝗔 𝗞𝗨𝗡𝗧 (@looking4missy_) is one of the best DJs in the city holding it down and making his mark in the ballroom scene and beyond - mixing everything from traditional Guadeloupean Gwoka to jungle and R&B/zouk edits. ok so. let’s get into it. if u know me u know i love vampires. so when @crystallmess invited me on her @nts_radio “UNLEASHED” show to do a guest mix focusing on film music i understood the assignment. let me give y’all a little back story. my first ever gig was in paris on nov 15th 2019. thanks to @antoineblauer @melange.culture for believing in me even though i had never stepped foot behind the decks. i shared a lineup with @dinamarca117 and crystallmess. yeah. that was wild. y’all have no idea what a full circle moment this is for me. @crystallmess opened doors for djs like myself to exist in paris. she is without a DOUBT mother, goat, queen. as nicki said, “queens dont always wear crowns” ‼️ thanks to her, there is now space for djs in paris (&beyond) that challenge stereotypes, defy genres and get to be unapologetically themselves. i have always&will always love+support u christelle. thank u 4 all that u do & for allowing me to share this platform with u. now that that’s been said let me give y’all some info on FREAQS. this auditory voyage is a meeting between my two first loves, cinema+music. it is a celebration of all those who don’t fit into a box.
