I’m not going to proselytize to you about how you should vote. Here’s a short version of how I *personally* weigh my decision. I vote in presidential elections. I have voted third party before. I voted for Kamala Harris this year. I am horrified by my tax dollars supporting the Israeli war machine, ethnic cleansing and US imperialism in general. Fuck the DNC, who sabotaged Bernie, the one viable left presidential candidate in my lifetime. I voted Democrat with the understanding that held in balance, local elections, politics, and involvement are more consequential and effective. Democratic reform is what will change the mechanisms of a two-party voting system. There’s no non-violent path to democratic reform under GOP power. That’s my calculus, and I support socialist politics, the
@demsocialists and want to live in a world free from the destructive forces of unregulated capitalism and the incentives of endless growth.
