2024 started at a sprint! Me and @jamesblake flew to Italy to curate and mix the soundtrack to the @zegnaofficial winter collection show at Milan fashion week, with @alessandrosartoriofficial . The models walked around the center piece - a huge mountain of cashmere formed by tiny flakes of delicate cashmere that drifted down from above. Then, my band @mountkimbie released one of our first singles in 7 years ‘Dumb Guitar’ featuring myself and @andreabalencybearn on vocals. James and I then threw a huge five room party with our CMYK collective in Los Angeles, during the Grammys weekend, special thanks to all the DJs and selectors who came through and played with us that night and of course to all the dancers who were out there! Then we attended the Grammys ceremony, I walked my first red carpet then got drenched in a huge storm that set in over the city. Finally, Mount Kimbie released another single ‘fishbrain’ and announced our new album ‘The Sunset Violent’ which is out on April 5th on @warprecords . After all that, I moved back to London after an amazing 8 years in Los Angeles. I’m just getting started, love to those listening x
