Led by Dr. Kristina Warton, our scientists have created a 3-target biomarker signature from DNA released by ovarian tumours. The early detection test needs to be highly sensitive and specific. Talk About Them. has taken monumental steps forward with the creation of a unique 3-target signature that detects tiny amounts of ovarian tumour-specific DNA across all major subtypes. Developed using advanced technology, we are taking even further action to ensure this test will be able to detect ovarian cancer at the crucial early stages. We are validating our test in larger numbers of samples and determining how best to bring this test to the clinic as soon as possible. Our progress in developing this test would not be possible without the unwavering support and generosity of the greater community. A rare opportunity to bring an anatomical model of the reproductive tract to parliament! Proud to celebrate 75 years of @unsw this week at an event at Australian Parliament House. Appreciated the opportunity to speak to politicians, diplomats and policy makers about the importance of funding research into #endometriosis #adenomyosis #menopause #ovariancancer & #endometrialcancer.
