Live sustainable screen printing with @flyingeyepress at @futuresoundofnature this weekend! We’ll make “new” merch from pre-loved clothing: all shirts have been donated to Thrift 2 Fight over the course of this year 🌱👚 Join us 1-6pm on Saturday and 12-5pm on Sunday, or stay for the entire festival and even camp out! 🏕️ There will be SO many other activities (swipe to see the list), not to mention incredible musicians performing all day every day. Along with community and land stewardship, sustainability is at the heart of a regenerative festival. This means that Future Sound Of Nature may run a little differently than what you’re used to. We’re partnering with @cupzero_hero to provide reusable cups and serveware–there will be a fully refundable deposit charged to use these items. We’re collaborating with @permatours on composting and education. And @greendiscogroup to collect data about our operations so we can gain an understanding of our ecological footprint, reduce negative impacts, and create a report that helps us improve our practices for future events. Food 🍱 Breakfast for campers from 9-11am. Lunch from 12-4pm. Dinner from 6-10pm. The cost of meals is not included in the price of tickets and will be paid directly to vendors. To reduce waste we are providing reusable cups, plates and sporks for each meal. There will be a $5 deposit to collect your serveware from a booth before each meal, which will be fully-refunded when you return your used items to the booth. Drinks 💧 The venue is serving canned beer and wine which can be paid via cash or venmo. We are providing FREE WATER FILLING STATIONS throughout the weekend. Please bring your own water bottle or cup to enjoy the water. If you need a cup for water there will be a $2 deposit for reusable cups. Waste 🗑️ The goal is to send as little waste as possible to landfill and to have ZERO single use plastic onsite. There are 4 types of bins you’ll find on site. REUSE - Please return reusable cups and serveware to the booth or drop in one of the marked CupZero bins. RECYCLE - The venue’s bar serves wine and beer in recyclable aluminum cans. COMPOST - All food waste goes in the compost bins. We’re working with PermaTours and Diggers Cooperative to create a sustainable compost program. TRASH - anything else. Travel 🚙 Audience travel is a major source of Greenhouse Gas Emissions so to encourage everyone to CARPOOL we’re running a daily raffle to GIVEAWAY A FREE DRINK TO EVERYONE IN A CARPOOL VEHICLE (just ask the parking attendant for a raffle ticket when you pull up with your car full of friends).
