Every year, Marina Abramović gathers twelve volunteers in the Greek mountains. In a house, secluded from civilization, they live together for a week: without eating, without speaking, without reading, and without any technical devices. @ilirtsouko and I participated in the camp – and are the very first journalists granted permission to report on it. After half a year of email exchanges and phone calls, we agreed on a simple rule with Abramović’s team: everything may be published, as long as the anonymity of the participants is guaranteed. I hesitated, when they asked me to be creative director for this issue of SEPP, a unique magazine, that combines fashion and football. „I don’t know much about neither fashion nor football“, I said, „I love both, of course, but I’m not an expert.“ - „That’s exactly why we’re calling you“, they said. Few weeks later, Markus Ebner flew in from Paris to visit me in my Vienna studio - and we put this issue together.
