Had an amazing time this past weekend. Thank you to the Hay Festival for screening my film and other wonderful films, I truly felt the love. Thank you to my fellow filmmakers, Alexis, Daniel, and Carlos, for sharing the space with me. Your films are super strong and powerful. Thank you to Christy and all the amazing team over at Joshua Tree Retreat Center for making a brother feel welcome! And to top it off, my girl and I explored Joshua Tree! This was our first time there, and we are definitely coming back! The landscape feels like another world. Truly blessed to have experienced this with everyone!

AJUPEME Mexico & USA had the honor of being invited by the National Museum of the American Latino to showcase the ancient Mesoamerican Ballgame at the Smithsonian in Washington, DC, as part of their Latinos in Sports event. This is a reminder that in addition to being great leaders and artisans, our ancestors were also remarkable athletes, with a legacy that stretches back to the original Mesoamerican Ballgame, also known as Ulama. We extend our deepest gratitude to our founder, Armando Osorio Uscanga, for spearheading the effort to bring this historic sport to a global audience. This collaboration between Mexico and the USA was a tremendous success. A special thank you to the Smithsonian and the American Latino Museum for this incredible opportunity.
