This is a sample of the VFX I made for the VISUALS PROJECTED LIVE ON STAGE at @ajrbrothers "The Maybe Man Tour" concerts. To achieve the effect of the disproportionate growth of the limbs, 3D Digital doubles of Jack's hands and legs were created in CG and composited onto his real body. These 3D CG limbs gradually replace the real limbs throughout the video, until the entire image becomes a FULL CG shot. In order to make Jack incredibly large compared to the room he is in, an optical illusion was created: Jack's 3D model was not actually made larger, but the 3D model of the room was shrunk and the camera was linked to his POV. This helped save a lot of time in the animation process. The giant eye reflected in the mirror is Jack's real eye modified with visual effects. This was shot separately. Jack's reflection at the beginning is a green screen effect (the mirror had green cardboard over the glass). Every detail was adjusted and fine-tuned to meet all AJR's requirements. This is a sample of the VFX I made for the VISUALS PROJECTED LIVE ON STAGE at @ajrbrothers "The Maybe Man Tour" concerts. To achieve the effect of a disproportionately growing hand, it was necessary to create a 3D digital double of Jack's hand in CG. The video starts with the real hand. When Jack stands up and the hand goes out of frame, we switch to the CG hand, which is the one seen throughout the video. At the end, when Jack starts shaking his hand vigorously, we switch from the CG hand back to the real hand. Every detail was adjusted and fine-tuned to meet all AJR's requirements. This is a sample of the VFX I made for the video of "Touchy Feely Fool", another amazing song by @ajrbrothers. Most of the effects consisted of green screen compositing techniques, such as the big hands and Jack himself. It was also necessary to remove the wires pulling the sofa with VFX. For the first shot, a green screen plate was not useful to create the illusion of the big hand appearing through the foggy background, as we see on video. To achieve this effect, I modeled and animated a CG 3D model of Jack's real hand and placed it in the environment. It was an honor and a pleasure to work on this project. Very happy to share a sample of the VFX I made for @ajrbrothers INERTIA music video. An incredible song with great and relatable lyrics and a super catchy beat! I love the concept and the ideas the director @edoardo2 had for this video. In pre-production we discussed and planned the best way to shoot practically on set to bring his vision to life and I couldn't be happier with the final results. The production crew made an excellent job taking care of the camera angles, lenses, lighting, and many more details. Very happy to share a sample of the visual effects I made for the short film "Death in Training", written and directed by @itsmiguelduran. This project is part of the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival's Inclusion Fellowship, sponsored by NETFLIX. In this project, the director requested to remove and clean some patches of the makeup where the actress' skin is visible, accentuate the ghoulish elements of the makeup and darken the inside of the mouth to enhance the macabre look.
