For the last 3 years, I have been going deep about my journey, the lessons I’ve learned and the unspoken secrets I wish I knew when I was a young dreamer. With my collaborator Jeremy McCarter, we tried to dig out the most interesting Hollywood stories but also the hardest realizations I had to come to in order to survive the ups and downs of pursuing my most ambitious dreams. It’s honestly awkward to turn the lens on my self but I felt compelled to tell my story because the path was not easy but I have been able to live an amazingly abundant creative adventure, and I want every person who is in the cusp of following their dreams to get that little nudge to go do it, or if you’re in the middle of your pursuit to keep going. This is a story of joy and hope, fun behind the scenes tidbits of being on set, some advice on how to be a creative leader and a first hand account of how to find your yellow brick road. attempting to say goodbye to my bubble after we finished filming my final scene in it (just in the bubble, not final scene in the films!) which actually happens to be one of the first that you see. 𖦹 ⋆｡˚ the attachment i felt to my wand and my bubble was comically overwhelming. (please feel free to laugh) ! many, many long, beautiful days were spent here, in the sunshine, in the freezing rain and wind. we sang, we laughed, we shared tearful, complicated moments and silly ones alike. these props and physical pieces of her puzzle hold so much !!!!!!!! her bubble was a home away from home. a protective shell and a quiet, safe place for all of her little secrets and truths. her wand filled a void in her heart, it gave her a sense of purpose, strength and magic, even if that magic was somewhat in her head. i miss these physical pieces of her often. ♡ sorry this caption sounds like a literal eulogy.
