REPOST from @lachlanbailey : "Sometimes the process behind an editorial isn’t always as rosy as the final result. I felt terrible for my agency @artpartner and @thatoneproduction as I made them scout almost every island in the Caribbean before settling on Barbados and then 4 days before the shoot changing my mind. The stylist and I had argued before the shoot regarding how many flights she had to take to arrive, so the mood was tense before taking a frame. On the scout day I hated the beach .. there was no sand and I was worried. On the shoot day i took terrible photos for 2 hours and argued again with the stylist. In frustration i switched lenses, completely changed every setting on my camera, and then a little magic happened."
