NEW WORK: Support Is All Around You Check out the director’s cut of this spot we at @denim.pictures did for @nike, highlighting how the support of loved ones can boost your performance and lifestyle. The shoot was intense but incredibly fun! Framing for a 9x16 aspect ratio presented unique challenges for both @petesestina and I. But we aimed to find compositions that fit the vertical negative space, which turned out to be quite liberating once we were finding it in the field. To capture the right look, we used the @old_fast_glass vintage zoom, Canon K-35 27-300mm T4.5. This allowed us to perform some in-scene zooms and create beautiful flares, honoring the vintage 70’s style we set out in pre-pro. Though the video is 9x16, I loved the 4x3 open gate frames, so I wanted to share those too which I’ll do in the next post! Big thanks to our awesome team!
