• It was shot in May 2019 on my first night on the revolutionary sit-in. I was filming a circle with mostly men coming to say poems in the middle when suddenly this girl entered the frame, as you enter a theater scene. And she appeared like she disappeared. I never saw her again or knew her name who she was. Words above by @hindinwonderland who directed this magnificent film. I watched @sudan_remember_us at the @ajyalfilm and it was an overwhelming experience, one again our youth are paying the highest price for daring to do the right thing. This time it is the youth of Sudan. This film is an urgently important ode to resistance and a rallying cry for the world to NOT forget about what is happening in Sudan. For over 400 days, Gaza has endured an unrelenting genocide. Every week, we gather here in Berlin to protest, yet the world remains indifferent. Weapons continue to flow, fueling the mass killing of Palestinians. But this isn’t just about Gaza - across Sudan, Lebanon, Congo, and so many other regions, people suffer under oppressive regimes backed by the very powers that claim to defend human rights. A new resolution now criminalizes any criticism of Israel, branding dissent as anti-Semitism, while police escalate violence against migrant communities and those they racialize as “other.” This system of oppression must end, and we must intensify our resistance. This is more than individual conflicts; it is a violent framework of white supremacy, imperialism, and colonialism. Western regimes, led by Germany and others, wear a mask of democracy while enabling occupations and supporting governments that perpetuate mass suffering. This hypocrisy is blatant: they champion human rights in words but actively defend and fund state-sanctioned violence. This is not democracy; it’s a selectively enforced system designed to protect global power hierarchies and suppress those who speak out. We demand an end to these occupations, an end to colonial violence, and an end to the systems that deny people their basic humanity across the globe. This white supremacist order has sanctioned genocide and oppression, from Palestine to Africa, the Middle East, and beyond. Our fight is for justice, dignity, and liberation. We will not be silenced.

Cairo Part I Today 3 years ago we travelled to Cairo for our first Egypt tour. I just came back from a surreal beautiful dream in Cairo and I want to say thank you: Dearest Qahira, alf shukran. You cured some pains and connected me with wonderful beings. In a time of ongoing genocides and political devastation we came together to spontaneously create a music video for our new song LAYLA ليلة with the incredible filmmaker @melih_akya and many wonderful souls from Gaza and Egypt. Stay tuned for this special piece! Also today, 35 years ago the Berlin wall came down and on that same day I was born. If I have a birthday wish please dear Universe, may I witness in my life time all walls and racist border systems fall from Palestine to Mexico and all around the globe.
