My God is a promise keeping God.He made a promise to make my grandmothers name great over 70 years ago (she couldn’t read or write) 15+ years after my grandmother passed, God is still accomplishing what He said He would do in a country she’s not from. I’m convinced every positive moment and blessing in my life is simply Him answering Her prayers till today. She would’ve been 100 years old this year. To see me stand before God to honor my grandmother on the very street it was said i was supposed to die on, in the very colors it was said i was supposed to die in…. The Lord determined THAT my friend was a lie cuz i’m still here standing...only God and the prayers of my grandmother and mother. I may not have all the right words for this moment just yet, I’m still processing but Meme we did it Grandma!!! We Did It Again Brooklyn!!!Go to the second to last slide you’ll hear my grandmother say her dreams have been accomplished. But this clip is back in ‘08. Had the honor to step back in with the man, the myth & the Legend, the first person to ever put me on to boxing back in New York @hollywoodhino Super dope seeing my brother after 3-4years and getting some work in. King Hino still the best trainer, motivator, trash talker…literally convinced me and someone’s mother i was a professional boxer, training for a fight. Until i realized he right…just the fight is against myself and who i used to be. So i Ended up running 4miles after and another 3 and a half this morning. Let this be your sign to get moving beloved. Don’t let nothing standing in the way of your greatness not even yourself. And again i say, Be Great.
