We’re thrilled to premiere our latest film LIFE AFTER in the U.S. Documentary Competition at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. We’re grateful for the work, care and support of this entire film team — full credits and image description in the captions below.

LIFE AFTER
Directed by Reid Davenport
Produced by Colleen Cassingham
An ITVS Co-Production

In 1983, a disabled Californian woman named Elizabeth Bouvia sought the “right to die,” igniting a national debate about autonomy, dignity, and the value of disabled lives. After years of courtroom trials, Bouvia disappeared from public view. Disabled director Reid Davenport investigates what happened to Bouvia and her story’s disturbing relevance today.

We’re working away at something special, with director Kristine Stolakis and producers Anya Rous & Jess Devaney (the team behind PRAY AWAY, @prayawayfilm)

Building off of our work together on Kristine’s feature documentary debut, we’re excited now to be producing Kristine’s sophomore film alive! — an animated, coming-of-age documentary about young people’s mental health

Photo from our recent editing retreat ✨

Baltimore, MD 📍 Come gather in community with us to watch and discuss POWER, a new film by @multitudefilms & @yanceford tracing the accumulation of money, the consolidation of political power + and the nearly unrestricted bipartisan support that has created the institution of policing as we know it

Post election, we're thankful to be able to offer this film at the radical bookstore @redemmas, as a tool for re-imagining public safety together 💭

Highlights from a full house POWER screening, generously hosted by David France & Bernardo Ruiz with a Q&A moderated by Carol Dysinger ⭐️

Part essay, part interview, and part archival collage, Power uses historical materials to illustrate our contemporary realities and examines urgent questions about a growing and largely unchecked authority—who is policed, who is protected, who gets to decide, and why.
