We like so many others can’t help but feel the weight of today’s tragedy. Kobe Bryant dedicated his entire illustrious career to the city we live and work in. His incredible talent paired with an undeniable work ethic was awe inspiring & inspirational. Yet as with any tragedy or loss that’s not what matters. You can strip away all that he accomplished in his career and his loss is still equally as saddening because that may have been what he did as a job, but not who he was as a human being. He was a father who loved his children. A man who sadly died in a tragic accident on the way to a basketball game with his daughter. That’s the part that hits. That’s the part we all should never forget. What’s most important in life. Not the awards, not the accolades, not the success, not the fame, but the love of family, friends, and the time you have on earth because that’s all we have. #ripkobebryant 💔🙏🏼😔
