This track rode with us for about 6 years: stashed away, tweaked, and reworked so many times that we probably retired faster than we finished it. After over 100 versions and experimenting with two different keys, we teamed up with Paul, who helped us wrap up this crazy journey. Seek is live now, proof that some things are worth the wait.

I had a really tough time when writing this and we hope this track spreads a spark of hope, especially when the world darkens. I think in a time of strong response to the current global atmosphere, where darkness and uncertainty seem to prevail, it is more important than ever that WE CARE more about each other. This song is the perfect example of a symbiosis of two souls who have found each other in a piece of music. @paulbrenning asked me a good two years ago if we wanted to do a collaboration. I had the beat fragment, chords and bass lying around on my hard disk, which I sent to him. The rest is history. I would like to take this opportunity to praise @paulbrenning , who is one of the most talented musicians I have ever met. Without his collaboration and his vocals, “We Care” would never have become what it is today. In addition to the title track “We Care”, there are two more tracks and an acoustic version on the EP, all of which you have also heard on many dancefloors around the world. I would like to thank everyone who has accompanied me on this journey and inspires me every day. ‘Asking Much’ is my second collab with Paul Brenning. I remember when we first talked about shaping the track, and how I fell in love with Paul’s lyrics the first time I heard them. The bass and electric guitar started on synths before being re-recorded live, and we crafted it to get to the version you hear now.
