A lot has happened since I posted in May (lots of mic drops, death drops, rain drops (the vibe was very much “yeeeeeah” (as in usher but also the diminutive of “yes” (is it a diminutive if it has an extra letter?) if you get my drift (which is actually another good word for this summer: “drift” (but in a Tokyo Drift way (like “wow I didn’t see the franchise going in that (one) direction but now that it has I guess I’ll be here now (cause when you’re here you’re family” (and all happy families are alike but each unhappy family is unhappy in its own (cowboy take me a)way).).).).).)?).) and here are a few pictures I took. Finally had a second to breathe (faith hill) so of course I chugged coffee, put on a podcast and grabbed this satanic invention to share my “life” with the “world.” Lots happened 2 me since I last posted 10 images. Lots of birthdays and openings (theatrical, physical, spiritual, literal—I see you @mouse that lives in my ceiling.) TFW u leave the shit pit to spend time w ur family and remember there’s a whole world out there. Really crazy things happened to me in my week abroad. First off I watched Wonka and loved it. Second, I learned new lingo like “Lagniappe,” or “til it’s backwards,” or “401k.” Third, I’m starting to think my lactose intolerance might be imaginary (which means I’m a Republican?) I’m so proud of my sweet siblings who are doing things to actually help this world that I plugged my gourde back into the matrix to share my live/laugh/love. Imagine deciding to be a doctor when you could spend the next 4 decades of your life in zooms pitching a half hour ABOUT becoming a doctor. Wild. (Not the Reece Witherspoon movie, nor Mother Nature, just the sort of vague utterance. Comps would be “cool” or “crazy” but said with a satirical edge. Ideal homes are Max or Netflix though Peacock could really work.)

Remember “bust down thotiana?” How that concept, that phrase pierced the collective consciousness? Even now I’ll find myself muttering that incantation quietly as I narrowly make the Q or sit on the toilet. That was four years ago (the mic drop of time, etc.) I’m back again with some pics to share because I ate all the snacks in my house and it’s raining so there’s no other way to procrastinate. Lots of people doing plays it seems. GodBLESS the high vibration of live performance. The only way I can reach that bliss state is walking at level 15 on the treadmill while watching housewives. Anyways TLDR: the horoscopes are all telling me it’s gonna be a great year. I gave it a few months of toil but now I’m tired again so consider this a digital manifestation: If you have an opportunity for me or a gate that only you can open—act quick! Time is precious and my too too mortal coil won’t have this spring for long.

Jesus god let this year be over. In another one of her tricks, 2023 is having me post this a second time. This is a replica, a recreation of my original digital utterance. It is the shape of an impulse with none of the initial life left in it. It is theater. If you are happening upon this post for the first time, know that even if it speaks to you, there was a better version you can never recover from the waste bin of history. Like Pina Bausch or Madame Tussauds. The shame, the embarrassment, the humiliation is humbling to say the least. Miss Gram, I am disappointed in you but mostly I am disappointed in myself. 2023 you have drained me—and not in a sexual way. Sort of like the first picture where everyone’s vibing and I’m squinting into the sun, mid throttle. 2024 please come correct queen. This app is a shit pit from hell but I’m desperate for dopamine. Not much more to say than that. Went to Scotland and learned a ton of new things some of which are non verbal/embodied (shoutout 2 the Druid spirits u know who u r) and some of which I could share but am choosing to gatekeep (klonopin + sauv blanc is 👍 4 ✈️, one CAN eat too many fries, comedians hustle way too hard given the impending climate apocalypse, god is he/him.) u could say @mogills & @ibethencourt also dropped a ton of wisdom on my a$$ but we’ll deal w that at a later date, once I speak w lawyers. in a shocking turn of events, it appears that people have really fascinating things to share if I shut the fuck up. not sure what to do with that info given ego, etc. But most importantly: my rain coat! feelin big big back to school vibes today and not just cause I bought a raincoat for the first time in my adult life. people are out here living lives and makin moves and having kids and sippin drinx and luckily I captured a few of those moments on my slim black box. what a wild collective delusion we share! what will happen next? I sent a single email today so I’m rewarding myself by posting on this platform. HEY YALL! I’m really proud of myself because I’ve been spending more time listening to my own thoughts and less time listening to podcasts. My daily battle against the dairy-intestinal-complex is fairing sort of like the Ukraine war, which is to say TBD? Most days good but then on Tuesday someone blew up a “dam” and the “river” flooded the “valley” if you get my drift. Speaking of my body, I have 7 (!!!) cavities that I need to fill so if anyone is hiring LMK. I’m not exactly a “self starter” but I am passionate and have great vibes in moments of chaos. So thrilled that the entertainment industry is getting passionate about civil disobedience, something I’ve been deeply involved in for a long time through my various NGOs. But really if someone sees me spending money scream “pay your bills” and take my credit card away. Xoxo

You guys May was really really wild in these streets of it all but the major headline of this post is that amongst the birthdays, weddings, graduations, funerals, workshops, rehearsals, meetings and picket lines I actually found time to get new pictures taken of the shiny golden orb known as my sweet cracked gourd (aka my head, TYYY @rslack) so let this be a lesson to you all: never let life get in the way of vanity. you’re only young once and if you don’t get a picture with a beard on your face than did it even happen? my working hypothesis is “No” but I also believe that aliens walk amongst us which is probably a conversation for my next post. okay lots of love wear sunscreen
