Madame Morrible 💜 @wickedmovie When Hair, Makeup and Prosthetics Designer, @frances_hannon_official, asks you to find the whitest hair to emulate clouds for @michelleyeoh_official’s regal Madame Morrible, we knew that we had a challenge on our hands (you can imagine the rarity and cost of sourcing such hair). We worked together to introduce a darker root to add further depth and to avoid a single flat white colour. This ensured a heightened dimension to the extravagant style and shape, beautifully executed and looked after by our friend, @sarah.nuth. Two wigs were created for this character, knotted by @charliewatson and @sam.james.cox. Elphaba 💚 @wickedmovie We were incredibly fortunate to be asked to make the wigs for @cynthiaerivo in Wicked. Four wigs were made in total and braided in-house by the team. When collaborating with the incredible Hair, Makeup and Prosthetics designer, @frances_hannon_official, we worked closely to determine the texture and curl pattern, including tinting the lace to match a sample of the green makeup used on Cynthia. Many hours of knotting by @sam.james.cox, @justinleejones90, and @charliewatson went into these wigs to achieve the level of fine detail needed to show the green skin through the braids. Particular attention also to the texture and presence of the frontal baby hair as well; a request from Cynthia, herself, achieved by a mix of mohair and textured hair. Looked after and applied by the talented hands of our close friend, @simcamps_pro. What a collaboration this process was and what a fantastic film this is.
