2024 Lighting Test #17 Simple set up as usual; bounced a 300c w/spotlight mount onto a wall and let the bounce handle most of the work. Used a 5 in 1 reflector to help fill in the shadows on the other side of the face. 2024 Lighting Test #16 Goofed around and ended up with this 😂 Another simple set up; used a Forza 500 with the Aputure spotlight attachment to create the slash of light. Bounced a Amaran 300c off the wall for the lightning effect. Think I went overboard with the effect this time around 😅 Grade was mainly inspired by Dune’s oranges and grays #cinematography #filmmaking #filmlighting #dop #sony #sonyfx3 #bts #nanlite #colorgrading #davinci #davinciresolve

2024 - Lighting Test #15 Going to start doing more lighting diagrams! Pretty simple set up this time; keyed from cam left with a tube light. I ran out of stands for diffusion frames, so I threw on a pool noodle. This created a problem where the noodle increased the general spill of the light, so I used some gaff tape to act as barn doors/an egg crate Improvised some neg by using a black table cloth that was lying around. The practical lamp in the background had some light that was hitting the wall, so I decided to remove it by draping a t-shirt on top of the lamp Grade was inspired by Long Legs.
