@carharttwip women fall/winter 2024 campaign by me
this campaign is deeply special to me, I often pray for honest creative work like this where my artistic DNA is not compromised but honored and celebrated while also bringing our community together in this massive way. It truly showed me anything is possible when I set my heart to it. I got some of my favorite WOC creatives in LA to collaborate on this with me — it’s so beautiful to see how we all share a similar creative vision, which truly was the thread that kept it all together. Thank you Marine and everybody at @carharttwip for letting me showcase the heart and soul of what makes LA so beautiful.

more new work from Yo Soy Latina
Yo soy Latina. The Latine experience is not monolithic. We come in all shapes, color and sizes. Our experience is complex and layered. Our identities are multifaceted and vast yet we often see deeper complexions from our latine community underrepresented throughout mainstream media and fashion. Through cultural fashion imagery, we aimed to explore and hero the Latina experience, evoking a sense of belonging to an identity often left out, we strived to shift the lens in hopes to impact a change in fashion and opening up the conversation to beyond what has been historically palatable. Yo soy Latina demands the viewer to see past cultural dogma in order to usher in nuance.
thank you to everyone involved xx
