Who are we and what is TLP & TCP? 👇🏼🧐 Heyooo! We are Giselle & Stephen 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏻 Together we make up @theloverspassport and @thecreatorpassport and today we wanted to do a little re-introduction for those of you that are new here 🙂 👰🏼‍♀️🤵🏻 We met back in 2018 in Santa Barbara, California! Both of us grew up near Los Angeles, and we started to road trip together on the weekends! In 2022 Stephen Proposed to me in Switzerland, and we got married in July 2023 in Santa Barbara! 🥳 Giselle is 26 and Stephen is 27! Both of us are November birthdays! Giselle’s favorite hobbies are reading fantasy books, cooking, yoga, & knitting! Stephen’s favorite hobbies are photography, hiking & taekwondo! ✈️ We started TLP (The Lovers Passport) back in 2020 during the pandemic, and taught ourselves photography/videography and started posting on Social Media. Neither of us had any idea what we were doing, but we quickly learned and grew to over 100k followers 🚙 In 2023 we grew our business to make over $1 Million dollars as professional Content Creators, and quit our 9-5’s to pursue this side hustle Full Time. We had 500k followers at this time and were posting on all major Social Platforms 👩🏼‍🏫🧑🏻‍🏫 In 2023 weeks also started developing TCP (The Creator Passport) which is our university level Content Creation coaching program. It took us over a year to film and finish our material, and we launched our first cohort in March 2024. 👩🏼‍💻🧑🏻‍💻 Our TCP family has now grown to over 300 students, and we have helped multiple people quit their 9-5 to pursue content creation full time. We open up our TCP cohorts 2-3x per year, with the next one being in January 2025. 🫶🏼 In September 2023, we hit 1 Million Followers on TLP and in November we have officially posted everyday of 2024. We created systems and processes in our content formula that has made us grow rapidly and now we get the opportunity to help other creators do the same ☺️ We just wanted to say THANK YOU for being here. LOG vs Edited Video is CRAZY 🤯 Before we dive in, don’t forget to save this and follow @thecreatorpassport for daily IG tips ✨ Most people know when you take photos you should be taking them in RAW so that you can get as much data as possible and edit the photo to make it look how you remember the moment, but this is also how video is too! When we record video on our camera, we shoot in LOG so that we can edit the video and preserve highlights and shadows in post production 🧑🏻‍💻 Here are the stops we take to capture and edit LOG footage 👇🏼 🎥 Record in LOG on Camera. Set ISO to 800 on most capable cameras 🎨 Download LOG to Rec.709 conversion file! Every camera has a different color space, so since we shoot in Canon CLOG3, we download that specific LUT (aka a preset for video) 🧑🏻‍💻 White Balance! After we convert the LOG to Rec.709, we adjust white balance, highlights, mid-tones, and shadows 🌈 Color Grade and Adjust Hues! This is my favorite part because you can make it look exactly like it did when you were visiting! Once we finish the full color grade, we save this as a LUT and drag the adjustment layer over the project so that each clip gets the adjustments! The past month is the first month since 2020 that our carousels have OUT PERFORMED OUR REELS 🤯 if you aren’t using them, get with it! 🐣 Smaller Accounts are getting pushed more! In 2023, Instagram 100% was pushing bigger accounts, but not they have started to prioritize small account recommendations and we can definitely see that with our students! 🧪 Trial Reels! I know a lot of people think this is lame, but personally we are STOKED for this feature to help see what content people want to see! 🔤 Text! We love all the new options and the ability to add text to carousels! This has been super fun to add more personality to posts 🎧 Trending Audio! They have made it SO EASY to find really good trending audios quickly! This used to take hours to find, but nowadays they are doing a great job recommending what your audience is listening to and different audios to prioritize 🤳 Instagram Stories! I know not a lot of people are fans of the only 1 story will get pushed update, BUT this is making our story views INSANELY high 🤯 we have stories hitting 130k views on @theloverspassport and that is higher than ever before! Analyze the hooks, topics, lengths, structures, and anything else that could have led to the video going viral 2️⃣ Create 30 different video ideas after analyzing that information. This involves us writing a script or the hook we would use, and then filming the b-roll or voice overs that we need in order to create these videos 3️⃣ Edit all the content and write captions, now this is the most time consuming part, especially as a beginner, but we like to edit on desktop to speed up workflow.
