27 years ago today, on 7th November 1997, Filipino migrant worker Rosalito Carpio died. In his memory, our team is releasing the trailer for a film dedicated to his life and legacy. We invite you to watch, and join us in remembering all the children who have lost a parent.
“rites” is a short documentary film about childhood bereavement, grief, hope, and moving on in life. It is a visual memoir by the Carpio family.
It will premiere in 2025.
