HOT SPRINGS | Short Film ! A group of friends’ summer road trip to a secluded mountain hot springs gets interrupted by the arrival of a stranger. - Back in 2021, after I graduated from school, I photographed this mystical screwball comedy by @a.r.p.p with an inspiringly talented (and, inspiringly cool, awesome, fun) group in Idaho. I am grateful to Alex for the opportunity and for his art, and to the special crew that’s made it. A short, cartoon-pop movie musical about childlike codependents Hazel and Carson-Virginia (C.V.), the soul-tied, dewy-eyed members of a two-man band on the run called “The Infantiles.” Evicted by their cold-hearted ex-manager, the self-quarantined duo must face their self-doubt, jumpstart their hunt for inspiration, and venture together into the unknown... I was remarkably lucky to get this one made at the time that it was, and it’s all thanks to a group of unique, unforgettable artists that I am lucky to call family. So keep your eyes peeled and ears perked for this heart-filling episode. I hope you’ll have as much fun with it as we did making it.
