Earlier this year I had the privilege of witnessing the magic and mastery of John Galliano, my absolute hero and a living legend, at his now iconic Artisanal 2024 couture show. To then be asked to take part in a special Margiela project curated by John and shot by Paolo Roversi for Luncheon Magazine is something I wouldn’t even have ever dreamed possible. In goth we trust Late last year I wrote a book celebrating gothic style and beauty. The inky fiends and femme fatales that mesmerised me growing up. As a kid I never felt like I fit in. Instead of princesses I was drawn to witches and vampires. I was a little bit dark and a little bit sad and found comfort in culture that pertained to the macabre. Fast forward to today and I’ve realised that so many other people feel that way too. So this book is for them.
