Our next chapter allows us to connect even more deeply with the places that ground us, both near and far. For those patient enough to journey alongside us, we look forward to sharing more as it unfolds. As I reflect on this life —one of love, family, and safety— I hold close the truth that such peace is not universal. At the height of our joy, remembering that the birthplace of Jesus —the very reason for this season— is being obliterated in the name of power, greed, and imperialism feels more important than ever. True and lasting peace cannot come without reckoning. Empires must crumble, and it’s crucial that we rise with courage, because the status quo only persists when we allow ourselves to remain silent. Now is not the time to turn away. I want to thank you for staying close and kind this year. May we carry hope, action, and truth into the New Year, with voices unshaken and hearts open. Wishing you a season of rest, reflection, and resolve. I hope to see you on the other side 🫶🏾
