Last Monday, I had the honor of holding a private screening in Paris for my seventh film, Empire of Others (EOO). This project marks the end of a year-long journey that began last winter, when I co-wrote the screenplay, followed by producing and directing it this March. Empire of Others is a deeply personal and autobiographical short film, portraying Talia’s story—a young woman with a disability striving to break barriers with authenticity, ambition, and kindness. The film touches on a sensitive and challenging theme, brought to life through a distinct visual universe that I am proud to have created. Sharing here are a few stills from the film.
