@acehotel is proud to announce the co-curators for next season’s artist residencies at @acehotelpalmsprings: @fwbcollection and @superchiefgallerynft. Friends With Benefits, or FWB, is a new cultural institution growing the adoption of emerging technology in pursuit of a better internet. Superchief Gallery NFT is the world’s first NFT gallery, with locations in NYC, LA and Tokyo. Their curation shines a light on three artists who capture the surreal psychedelia of LA’s desert milieu: interdisciplinary artist @zeitweitz, digital Pop Precisionist @terrelldom and multidisciplinary artist @anta52. Artist in Residence @zeitweitz spent the month of August with us exploring all that the desert has to offer. Drawing inspiration from many days and nights spent exploring Joshua Tree and the surrounding areas, Erika’s use of wet plate collodion and dives deep into nature and the unique, heightened, and surreal energies within the desert. Join us and our friends @fwbcollection and @superchiefgallerynft from December 14-15 for a weekend to celebrate the opening of Erika’s work titled “HOLY WATER” with a line up of curated DJs and unique nighttime swim dive-ins.
