Wojciech Rusin - Honey for the Ants Honey for the Ants by @wojciech_rusin completes an ‘alchemical trilogy’, after The Funnel and Syphon. These albums are informed by mystical and gnostic texts, celebrating the weird, unhinged and occasionally beautiful. In this forthcoming album the tonalities have shifted from mediaeval and renaissance to modernist dissonances. New singers and instrumentalists contribute to an emotional and textural richness achieved in a collaborative process. Wojciech Rusin is a Polish-born audio visual artist based in London. He draws inspiration from alchemical and gnostic texts, early renaissance choral music and Eastern European mythologies. He released Syphon LP on AD 93 in 2022 and The Funnel LP on Akashic Records in April 2019. He designs and makes 3D-printed reed instruments, reworking ancient designs with contemporary 3D modelling technologies. In 2020 he released Meat for the Guard Dogs on Cafe OTO’s Takuroku digital imprint, and the Rufus Orbis cassette for Boomkat Editions / Documenting Sound series. His music has been featured on BBC Four and he has worked for The National Theatre and The Southbank Centre. Moin - You Never End Limited Edition Photo Book As Moin sought the cover art for their third album You Never End, they filmed various scenes and locations using a particular ‘nightvision’ camera to visually explore sentiments and atmospheres in relation to that of the record. A process that spanned six months and amassed a vast amount of imagery. The resulting stills often felt more evocative collectively and capturing all the nuances in a single cover photograph became a challenge. The book is an opportunity for the group to select and share some of their insights from this journey. A5 Perfect Bound book, 350gsm Velvet Cover with Spot UV, 17 pages 180gsm silk finish. This one’s straight from my heart, and I spent the mad time to get the details in, went through a years worth of footage o man. if you’ve seen me with my mini cam at any point this year, u know the drill, freeze frame, n find yrself in the mix. did my best to get u all in!
