ARRI Studio New York hosted director and photographer Aundre Larrow (@aundre) to create atmospheric scenes for his short film ‘Mud’. Shot entirely on the new @apple iPhone 16 Pro, 'Mud' is a short film about legacy. Subjects reminisce on the lessons that their biological and chosen family members have left them with. ARRI Stage London welcomed @wpp and its Creative Tech Apprenticeship program to create virtual production trailers for their final module projects – games that had been built using Fortnite, VR or AR. The intensive nine-month program enables junior talent to develop their artistic voice by working on real-life projects with some of the top technology companies in the world. The shoot was delivered by @nm_productions_ and incorporated six projects, each involving a team of three students. Take a pitstop and check out @bp_plc “Life’s Journeys” campaign, brought to life at ARRI Stage London. This recently launched work marks the company’s first creative project in the UK to be built solely around virtual production. Conceived by @ogilvyuk and produced by @hogarthworldwide, the shoot highlights bp’s extensive UK service station network with stunning visuals for TV. The use of 3D environments enabled the team to recreate authentic bp forecourt and interior store locations safely, whilst maintaining complete control of lighting and weather conditions. Utilizing virtual production for the campaign gave director Charlie Bray (@brayhem) and DP Charlie Herranz (@charlieherranzdop) a highly flexible, adaptable environment, opening endless possibilities for creative storytelling. The campaign will air throughout September and October on TV. ARRI Stage London's LED ceiling is constructed from four sections of ROE Carbon CB3 panels, which can be controlled independently and can tilt up to 45 degrees. With millimeter-precision positioning, and a motorized rigging and suspension system, switching between setups is swift and safe.
