posting again! because the first time was posted by accident 🤦🏻‍♀️ (don’t hate me) Still completely floored by this news. Katarina and I were screaming on FaceTime for 20 minutes and that feels like the only right response. It is a long held dream of mine that suddenly came true and I feel nothing but gratitude. @katarina.zhu completely gave us her all, I fell in love with her script from day one, fell in love her, her ability to give us a piece of her life, and with so much grace and softness, her trust in her team was falling down backyards with complete faith- and lastly her vision, which was special, surprised me, and took so much love to bring to life. It took so much strength, and I’m so grateful for her. For @anischroeter and @rogermancusi and the whole production team (@loganskole @giarigoli @aketeyian) for somehow doing the impossible. I’m in awe of you guys! And the brightness and love you brought to us every day was felt. To @treaclychild , our fairy god angel, thank you for everything!! For my babies, @shutup.ariel, @faux_rust , Chelsea Soby, @nordlily, @dimkiwi , thank you for not just nailing the lighting and camera work, but for the belly laughs, bubble tea, and hardcore friendship. I truly deeply love you guys. And am so grateful that our work can be seen on such a stage. Thank you again to @marni.z at @panavisionofficial who’s been with me every step of the way. Finding cinematography felt like falling in love. The day I decided to allow myself to even choose to pursue it, I walked around anxiously, close to tears, for hours and hours in Manhattan, clutching my best friends hand breathing through racing thoughts…. HOW would I ever do it, seems impossible, don’t know anything, I’m this I’m that— the normal things you might think whenever you really really really want something, which was simply, to BE Harris Savides, something I’m still going for. I feel eternally grateful, for all the friends I made along the way, who made this journey in becoming, not just meaningful, fulfilling and deep, but soooo ffing FUN!
