FERMATA based on the concept of pianist and composer @rubinhenkel. Sound is perceived differently by the various species that inhabit our planet. Sound waves, generated by a source creating vibrations in the surrounding medium, can affect other organisms—even at frequencies inaudible to humans. We aim to highlight the audible communication between humans and plants, enhancing our awareness of these interactions and fostering a deeper emotional understanding of our natural environment through musical collaboration. By embracing the metaphor of the Fermata [ferˈmaːta]—a musical notation symbol indicating a note to be prolonged beyond its usual duration—we seek to illustrate the impact of our actions or inactions on the longevity of plant music. 𝄐
