How do you like my beauty portraits? It's portraits done with a beauty emphasis! Some of my favorite things to do! It also ties in some boudoir elements to add that spice. My first image with the one and only @theacaciamcbride! We used natural light from a doorway slightly open as a main light and one @elinchrom_ltd as the accent light on the modeling light with a gel. We did this on a collaboration day with @zacharyleeportrait at his studio! We really bounced off each other with ideas. Thank you to @romanlopezfotografia for his assist as well! He's a great retoucher and photographer too. The skin tone colors were unified using Infinite Unify from @infinitetools. Color grading was by @infinitecolorpanel. During my time in Namibia I had a chance to create with Cassandra one last time. She had been traveling with us for our Creative Experience retreat and we’d been creating all over the natural landscapes. However I wanted you do a studio style shoot too! @bellakotak designed a body piece for me to use and helped style this look! I love working together. Shot with one lamp (literally) and the @profoto A1 as fill in a hotel room against their curtains.

It’s @lieveblanckaert’s birthday! To celebrate I wanted to share a closeup I love! Assisted by @k_reemz who ended up using his strength to keep the wind going manually to make this shot happen. And moral cheerleading by @bellakotak as well.

A few people said they thought @lieveblanckaert was AI. That’s always the hardest part about shooting someone like Lieve. When everything comes together from the lighting, styling, pose, emotion, and edit, it looks absolutely unreal in the best way. And that makes it hard to pick the shots to post when you love them all! I promise photography becomes super fun once you fall into confidence in your work over time. Couldn’t have done this without the help of both of our partners @k_reemz and @bellakotak! It was quite the party 🎉

Dressed to defy the odds … 😏 I LOVED tapping into this masculine side of myself. Ive always had it but to really embody in this way… was pretty cool and felt so natural to me. I’ve always wanted to shoot Carnival and when I realized that @lieveblanckaert was basically the queen of Carnival I asked if I could shoot her outfit! Here’s an example of some of the magic we came up with. I’m always obsessed with the beautiful details! Special thank you to @k_reemz and @bellakotak who assisted that day!
