Daughters Out on Netflix August 14th 8 years in the making. Inspired by the incredible Angela Patton’s Girls for Change organisation the film follows the lives of four daughters of imprisoned fathers in the US. The film explores the need for the daughters to be connected to their fathers. Their need for that bond culminates in a father and daughter dance at the jail. No mean feat when you begin to understand how in-person visits are extremely rare. It’s a soulful experience. The film will challenge and educate as you experience and understand the universal human needs of these fathers and daughters. The depth and complexity of the issues these families face are treated with compassion and honesty from Natalie and Angela. Some shout outs to our creative collaborators. The poetry of the visuals from cinematographer Cambio Fernandez, Kelsey Lou’s beautiful score and Adelina’s edit, entwining these stories at a pace that gives you time to absorb and reflect. We feel truly blessed to have been asked to contribute in some small way. This is not the end but the start. Kenzo @maxfergusonhook last job at TBA 😭 He joined us from a surf shop in Aberdeen 8 years ago and from the moment we found him studying Resolve on his laptop whilst on work experience we knew he was a keeper. Max worked his way from runner to grading Channel 4’s iconic new idents last year. His appetite to constantly learn and embrace and understand everything that was put in front of him was always an inspiration. His good soul and spirit totally infectious to be around. We were lucky to see Max grow not only as a colourist but a young man. With his beautiful family he leaves for New Zealand for a new and incredible experience. We wish him continued success. He will always be a part of us. Love ya Maxy x

An afternoon at the Young V&A

Felt proud might delete later. What a year or so we’ve had working on films alongside our other work @timebasedarts. A real mix of titles, but all successful in their own right. From Scrapper winning Sundance last January to our latest project @daughtersdocumentary going to the festival in 2 weeks time. What a team we have, led by the legend that is @simone_grattarola_colour - bring on 2024!
