Last month I had the pleasure of speaking at the @typographicsnyc conference at @thecooperunion. I talked about my design process and journey to find a home within a field lacking representation of Black creatives. I also spoke about how I've used design to build community, along with where I seek out meaning to inform my work. I am grateful to the curators @alexandertochilovsky and @ellenlupton for inviting me to share my design perspective with all the attendees.
