PSA: DATE CHANGED TO FRIDAY NOVEMBER 8TH
WHICH MOODY ARE YOU?
Join us next week to celebrate “Moody” by Tais Sirote and Lucy Webster.
Moody is a powerful exploration of the raw, untamed emotions that often lie hidden beneath the surface. In this project, Sirote and Webster embrace the full spectrum of feelings - those that society frequently labels as “taboo” - transforming them into something tangible.
At the heart of Moody lies the transformative power of makeup, which empowers people to express their true selves, adapt to their moods, and embody who they aspire to be, highlighting that beauty is not merely a superficial ideal, but a profound tool for self-expression and affirmation.
The series features lipsticks meticulously handcrafted by Lucy Webster. Each one is inspired by distinct moods, serving as tangible representations that don’t exist in any beauty aisle.
Moody invites you to explore the intricate interplay between emotion, identity, and beauty, where every application is an affirmation of self.
The amazing @athenapaginton will create a lipstick look based on each mood and allow the visitors to choose their character on the night of the launch!

OPENING NEXT THURSDAY 29TH - ‘STRANGE QUARKS’
Strange Quarks marks India Mullen’s and Johannah Lordan’s debut show, merging elements from their various disciplines to present a collection of works that explores the interplay between the seen and unseen. The exhibition offers a vibrant narrative where abstraction meets the concrete.
Through this body of work, each artist reveals an intuitive approach to these dynamic forms, with a freedom rooted in improvisation, playing upon memory and layers of time. Mullen and Lordan respectively encourage viewers to reimagine the possibilities of exploring these unseen elements and where works can merge and intersect.
Private View: August: 29th 6PM - 9PM
Open to the public: August 30th 10AM - 5PM

OPENING TOMORROW - SKETCHBOOK VOLUME II ‘Normal Life Happens’ by Aria Shahrokhshahi.
Showcasing new photographic, installation and sculptural work from the artist, exploring duality through conceptualization of Ukraine as a country of counterpoints - a space where everyday life continues in spite of a drawn-out crisis, a space where young people contemplate their futures in the face of unimaginable uncertainty, where natural landscapes and wildlife are documented only by virtue of military surveillance technology poised to bring about their annihilation.
The exhibition will be accompanied by the release of the Sketchbook Volume II magazine, which focuses on the specific motif of how rapidly advancing technology shapes the many potentialities that lay ahead of Ukraine and its people.
Proceeds from the sale of the magazines and prints of the works will be donated to the NGO’s Base UA and Livyj Bereh.
