I pleaded for a life changing opportunity a month before I did my first interview with @savanahleaf. I feel like I have been working my whole life for this moment. I hope this film moves your spirit the way it has moved mine. Forever changed and eternally grateful. yeeeeeee 🖤

As I am preparing for a hiatus from performing for a multitude of reasons, I think about my earlier goals in life. I never thought it was possible to perform in NYC when I was 13 making music back in Maryland. It just didn’t seem realistic. Many times I’ve waited for opportunities and sometimes you have to create them for yourself, no matter what that looks like. I feel like I live in a constant state of vulnerability as an artist and more than anything that I desire beyond work and expressing that vulnerability, is to have community. On the line up is @ruqqiyah__ and truly my sister within and outside of music @daughteroftheculture who has been immensely supportive.
