This one was truly special and checked all the boxes. We are proud to share this film, aiming to raise more awareness and visibility for parasports. Our goal was to shine a spotlight on these athletes, giving them a stage where their athleticism, professionalism, and passion are being seen, just like in the main events. Catching up on some work from almost a year ago. I always wanted to share these stills but somehow never did. The task was to capture boredom and endless waiting. Single faces allowed for a 3:2 framing with plenty of negative space and symmetry. Thanks to @vantagefilmofficial for the sweet @hawkanamorphic Mini Hawks. They gave us the right character and some slight anamorphic bokeh while still being super fast and allowing for super close focus. The chromatic aberration was just right for the look we were going for. Different objects were supposed to be the main light source, so everything regarding light was motivated by that. Grading-wise, we went for a dense and moody film emulation look with a strong print look aesthetic. Thanks to @matthias.color for your wizardry!
